HTC Snap New Smart Phones

HTC recently introduce the Snap, its new smart phones with QWERTY keyboard device. The new smart phone's device is optimized for e-mail and messaging phones.

With this smart phones, HTC gives more attention to its email feature. They develop a new feature named Inner Circle that can sort your email based on your priority preference. You can dedicate special button to take emails from a group of people you previously selected to the top of your email list so you can prioritize to open and reply them in a first chance.

The Inner Circle feature was developed to respond a Harris Interactive study. They found the fact that 44 percent of adult online users in the US are overwhelmed by the tons of email they receive. But in the other hand, 55 percent of them prioritize to communicate via email to only five or even fewer people.

The new smart phones also support Microsoft Direct Push Technology. This technology enables you to have a real-time email delivery to your new smart phone. The technology also support IMAP and POP3 email account and enables your Outlook contacts, tasks and calendar to automatically synchronized via Microsoft Exchange Server. You will have better typing experience with "extra-large domed keys" feature offered by the new smart phone's full QWERTY keyboard.

Powered by standard CPU 528 MHz coupled with Windows Mobile 6.1, HTC Snap will be equipped with 2-megapixel camera & camcorder, a microSD/SDHC expansion slot, 192MB RAM, 256MB ROM, integrated GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0. The new smart phone has a dimentions 4.5 x 2.4 x 0.4 inches with 2.4-inch QVGA nontouch screen. .

The HTC new smart phones are first available at the second quarter of 2009 in selected channels. The Snap than be rolled out worldwide during the second half of 2009. Specifically for you who stay in the US, this summer you get your own version of this new smart phones, called the HTC S522 that supports 850/1900MHz HSDPA bands, and it'll be available both unlocked and not through the AT&T carrier.
