The HP PDAs iPAQ 110 Classic handheld is the first entry-level PDA that to run Windows Mobile 6. Compare to IPAQ 111 HP PDAs, the iPAQ 110 actually the same device: HP uses the difference only to mark sales channel (retail store vs corporate and direct sale).

The HP PDAs iPAQ 110 use a Marvell PXA310 624 MHz processor with 64 MB SDRAM and 256 MB flash ROM, a 3.5" TFT screen, built-in Bluetooth v2.0 with EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, and a full-size SD card slot that support SDIO. Like all previous HP PDAs, the iPAQ 110 Classic supports data sync through mini-USB 2.0 port. This HP PDAs come with a full set of applications for your personal information management (PIM) needs. Office mobile, email, a PDF viewer and Windows Media Player Mobile for music and video playback are also included. The HP PDAs also come with ActiveSync 4.5 and Outlook 2007 trial for Windows PCs.

These HP PDAs runs Windows Mobile 6 Classic. Compare to previous version Windows Mobile 5, Windows Mobile 6 offers a friendlier PIM experience such as contextual Contact management and smart calendar bar, improvements in Office mobile applications (PowerPoint, Excel and Word), and a better email experience for using Outlook with Exchange Server 2007,.

The HP PDAs have a very clean and sleek look with large buttons on the front and two small buttons on sides. There are LED lights and the light sensor above the display. There’s also a soft reset hole on the right side. An SD card slot is placed on the left side and the 3.5mm audio jack is placed on top right of the PDA next to the stylus silo. The rear-firing speaker and the battery door stay on the back of the unit. The soft-touch surface wrap around the sides and the back of the HP PDAs so that the device doesn’t slip out of your hand.

The iPAQ 110’s 3.5-inch large screen is very bright. There is an Auto Sensor that adjusts the brightness, although it can be set manually as well. You can set the brightest to turn the device’s screen into a bright flashlight. The photos and videos look good on the screen because the colors are saturated and balanced on the HP PDA’s 65K color display. With the gorgeous large display and a fast 624 MHz processor, gaming is a great joy on the IPAQ 110.
